Electrician jobs in Singapore

Employment Pass (EP): Two stages: the age-based qualifying salary, then at least 40 points on COMPASS (salary against the sector, qualifications, and the employer’s nationality mix and local hiring). A job on the Shortage Occupation List earns bonus points but doesn’t lower the salary. First pass up to 2 years, renewals up to 3.

Electrical installation work must be done by an EMA-licensed electrical worker. An electrician licence needs a relevant ITE Nitec and 2 years of practical experience in Singapore, then written, practical and interview tests; experience abroad doesn’t count, so newcomers start under supervision.
